Chattanooga Summer Ultimate League 2003
What is Ultimate
League? Have you ever experienced something so profoundly satisfying that everything else suddenly seemed superfluous in its presence? Ultimate will affect you in such a way. Not that you'll give up eating and bathing, but work and Tuesday nights at the movies may just lose their charm. Click here for a glimpse into our 2002 Summer League Season Ultimate, also known as "Ultimate Frisbee," is a non-contact sport played with a "Frisbee" disc by two seven-player teams. The object of the game is to score goals. The disc may only be moved by passing from player to player, as running with the disc is not allowed. Any time a pass is incomplete, intercepted, knocked-down, or contacts an out-of-bounds area, a turnover occurs, resulting in an immediate change of possession of the disc. A goal is scored when a player successfully passes the disc to a teammate in the end zone which that team is attacking. Ultimate relies on athleticism, strategy, and, above all, teamwork.
